Minocqua, WI — Due to unsafe ice conditions on area lakes, Minocqua has opened two designated Snowmobile Park and Ride Lots in the Town of Minocqua to allow snowmobilers easy access to the area’s trail system until the ice conditions become safe for riders.
The two lots opening for snowmobile trailer parking are parking Lot C, located behind the Minocqua Post Office and Lot Q at the Minocqua Park Complex located at 10295 Hwy 70 W (From Hwy 51 & 70 W: Take Hwy 70 West 2.5 miles and turn left on Camp Pinemere Rd )
Lot C is open from 6 a.m. to Midnight. Overnight Parking is available in Lot Q.
All lake trails in Oneida County remain closed and are considered unsafe until they have been clearly marked by a local snowmobile club.
