Community Christmas Kickoff & Elf Scavenger Hunt

November 29th, 2025

Community Shop Small Saturday Events: 

• Visit Santa & Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides at Ace Hardware- Woodruff: 10 am- 2 pm

• Elf Scavenger Hunt throughout Minocqua, Woodruff,  Arbor Vitae & Hazelhurst: During Store Hours

• Cookie Decorating & local craft vendors at Northfork Fin & Filet- Arbor Vitae: 9 am- 1:30 pm

• Merry Minocqua Town Tree Lighting with Santa in Veteran's Park: 5- 6 pm 

Elf hunt takes place Saturday November 29th, 2025. Turn forms into the box in the 24-hour Minocqua Area Visitors Center at 8216 Hwy 51 S by Monday, December 1st, 2025 at 10 am.

Ages 13–17: Search for the Elf Legs Ornament

How to Play

• Search for the Elf at the participating businesses listed below.​
• When you find it, tell an employee and have them sign your form.
• Don’t forget to grab a piece of candy as your sweet reward!

There are 3 festive regions to visit:

North Pole Region – From Torpy Park to North of Arbor Vitae: See Map of  Businesses​​​​

​Reindeer Run Region – South of the Lake Minocqua bridge to the south end of Hazelhurst: See Map of Businesses

Complete regions to earn your way into the Holiday Gift Drawings!

•  Nice List (Tier 1) – Complete 1 Region 
  Prize: $100 Gift Card

• Santa’s Helper (Tier 2) – Complete 2 Regions & be entered into Tier 1 & Tier 2
  Prize: $200 Gift Card

•  North Star Champion (Tier 3) – Complete All 3 Regions & be entered into all 3 drawings
  Prize: $300 Gift Card

 Submitting Your Entry

Drop your completed form in the box located in the 24-hour vestibule of the Minocqua Area Visitors Center: 8216 Highway 51 S Minocqua by Monday, December 1st at 10 AM. The Prize Drawing will take place on Tuesday, December 2nd.
