On the last Saturday in September, the smell of beef fills the air and more than 12,000 people fill the streets of downtown Minocqua. For 60 years, Beef-a-Rama™ has been a premier event drawing visitors back year after year to join in on the one-of-a-kind fun you can only find in the Northwoods.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best way to get to the event? Will there be parking?

The easiest way to get to the event is to park at one of the FREE park and ride lots and take the free shuttle to the event. From the North, park at Lakeland Union High School or Trig's RV Lot. From the South, park at Truck Country.  There is a handicap accessible bus that will run from the Trig's RV Lot from 9 am- 9 pm.

Where can I get a beef sandwich? 

Take your pick of three official beef sandwiches. Try a shaved prime rib sandwich at the Minocqua Lions Club Beer Garden in Torpy Park, Shredded Beef Sandwich at the Cross Country Cruiser Tent on Front St, or Beef Brisket Sandwich at the Lakeland Rotary Beer Garden on Chicago St. Sandwiches are available around 10AM or whenever they are ready, and are sold until gone (typically 1-2PM).
