What to do:

Stretch your legs and your dogs on one of our picturesque hiking trails. Some of our most popular area trail are dog friendly. Once you’ve worked up a thirst hiking, sit on the dog friendly patio at Rocky Reef Brewery and taste test some hand-crafted local brews like Staycation Blonde Ale or Musky Bite IPA. They often have unique seasonal brews too like Nice Pineapples, a Pineapple blonde. If your dog loves jumping off the dock into the lake, test his/her abilities at our annual Paws in the Park held every Father’s Day weekend. This festival is all about four-legged fun. Enter your dog in the dock diving competition, watch the Dock Dogs of Wisconsin pros show off their dogs, run through the agility course, and join in the Paws on the Run 5k run/walk with or without your dog.

When you are out and about with your whole gang, grab a bite to eat at one of a number of restaurants with dog friendly patios in the area. Sit outside and enjoy a sandwich or burger at places like Lakeside Grill or Black Bear Bar. Enjoy your morning coffee next to your dog at Dixie’s Coffee House.  Treat yourself to some delicious ice cream and your pup to their very own puppy cone at Hoggie Doggies.
