2025 IFSS Dryland Mushing World Championships

Get ready for six days of high-speed racing, incredible athletes—human and canine—and a one-of-a-kind event you won’t want to miss. The IFSS Dryland Mushing World Championships are coming to the U.S. for the first time ever, and Minocqua, Wisconsin, is the proud host.
More than 350 competitors from 20+ countries will take to the trails at Minocqua Winter Park in this thrilling international competition featuring dog-powered sports like rig, bikejoring, canicross, and scooter racing. These elite athletes and their dogs will race head-to-head on dirt trails.

Thursday, October 16
- 4 pm-8 pm: Culver’s Share Night Fundraiser
Location: Woodruff Culver’s
Details: Join us for a fundraiser at Culver’s in Woodruff. There will be equipment demos and raffles available.
Monday, October 20
- 6 pm-8 pm: Opening Ceremony
Location: Minocqua Park Complex, 10295 WI-70, Minocqua, WI 54548
Details: The official opening ceremony of the IFSS Dryland Mushing World Championships will begin with a procession of teams through the park to the pavilion. All teams will be introduced and official opening ceremony proceedings and remarks will occur. There will be specialty beer from Rocky Reef Brewery, refreshments and complimentary light snacks available.
Tuesday, October 21 (Location: Minocqua Winter Park unless otherwise noted)
- 9 am-12 pm: Racing Classes:
- 1-Dog Bikejor
- Women’s 1-Dog Canicross
- Junior 1-Dog Canicross
- 9 am-2 pm: Vendor Village
- 9 am-2 pm: Food Trucks: Dublin’s Paddy Wagon
- 4 pm-6 pm: Dog Food Nutrition Demo
Location: MWP Stage Area
Details: Kinetic Dog Food will be doing a dog food and supplement nutrition demo/workshop and will be grilling up complimentary hot dogs and brats. - 6 pm -9 pm: MWP Teahouse Musher Social
Location: MWP Teahouse on Nepco’s Cruise Trail (trail will be marked with directions)
Details: Come together for a fun evening social at the MWP Teahouse with a bonfire, complimentary hot cocoa, hot cider, tea, and s’mores.
Wednesday, October 22 (Location: Minocqua Winter Park unless otherwise noted)
- 9 am-12 pm: Racing Classes:
- 1-Dog Bikejor
- Women’s 1-Dog Canicross
- Junior 1-Dog Canicross
- 9 am-2 pm: Vendor Village
- 9 am-2 pm: Food Trucks: Dublin’s Paddy Wagon & Tip Ups
- 2 pm: Medal Ceremony for Podium Finishers
Location: MWP Stage Area - 5 pm -8 pm: Musher Social at Rocky Reef Brewery

Details: Hang out at Rocky Reef Brewery with the mushers. Feel free to bring in food from another restaurant, play games, and socialize.
Thursday, October 23 (Location: Minocqua Winter Park unless otherwise noted)

Details: Join us for a classic Wisconsin fish fry-style dinner, keynote speech from Jessie Holmes (Nat Geo’s Life Below Zero reality TV star and 2025 Iditarod champion), raffles, and an evening of fun! All are welcome to attend. Pre-registration required - no tickets available at the door.
