Concerts start at 6:30 p.m. and usually last an hour or so. Donations are appreciated. Concert Band Aug. 2 Celebration Brass Quintet Aug. 9 Dixie 6 Aug.16 Unemployed 11 Little Big Band Lakeland Community Concert Band – This is a group of 40 or so musicians that rehearse all year long providing concerts during the Christmas season and in the spring. During the summer they play music that appeals to the summer crowd. Trillium – A trio of ladies who perform well known songs from the 40's, 50’s, 60's and beyond. Their close knit harmonies are accompanied by some of the area’s finest musicians. This busy group is a staple of entertainment around northern WI and regularly entertains for the Veteran Honor Flights. Celebration Brass Quintet – Back in the mid-nineties, 5 brass players from the Lakeland area came together to play music purely for enjoyment. Who would have known back then that this group of mostly the same musicians have stayed together for almost twenty years and now perform for many events? Their repertoire includes music for almost any occasion including weddings, anniversaries, holiday events, civic functions, church services, concerts in the park, funerals, patriotic celebrations, and even dances. Unemployed 11 Little Big Band – This “Little Big Band," recreates the sounds of the Big Bands, playing music from the 30's up through the 1980's. They are “The Unemployed 11”!! Dixie 6 - The "Dixie Six" enjoy playing traditional New Orleans style jazz (Dixieland). While the members have come and gone over the past twenty years or so, the music remains.
