Hire a fishing guide:
What would a guys' weekend be without a tall tale of catching some epic-sized fish? We’d prefer if you didn’t have to lie, so hire one of our area fishing guides to take you out for a real world-class fishing experience.
Golfing & Disc Golfing:
Golf courses are often pristine and beautiful but ours have the added picturesque backdrop of the Northwoods. Hit the links at some of the premiere Wisconsin golf courses like Timber Ridge. Not the type of golfing you're into? Try disc golf. Brandy Lake Disc Golf Course is a moderately wooded 18 hole course and is a popular spot for disc golfers. The Squirrel Hill Disc Golf Course at Minocqua Winter Park is another great option that winds through pine and hardwood forests and features breathtaking views atop the old alpine ski hill.
Sip on Suds & Spirits:
Take a tour of some of our original area craft brews and spirits. Visit Rocky Reef Brewing Company and enjoy a sampling of some cool brews like their Popular Musky Bite IPA & Staycation Blonde Ale or unique options like Breakfast in Bed, a Kettle Sour with blueberry, and local maple syrup. Want some spirits to lift your spirits? Head to Northern Waters Distillery for a tour and taste some cocktails. If you are really into the distilling process, book their “spend the day experience” and learn the ins and outs of the entire process.

ATVing and UTVing is becoming a very popular recreational sport throughout Wisconsin and the Minocqua area has lots of new trails to explore.
