Beef-A-Rama™? There’s An App For That! Minocqua Area Chamber Announces New Event App
Minocqua, WI (August 22, 2017) — On the last Saturday in September the smell of beef fills the air and more than 12,000 people fill the streets of downtown Minocqua. For over 50 years, Beef-a-Rama™ has been a premiere event drawing visitors back year after year to join in on the one-of-a kind fun you can only find in the Northwoods.
This year, planning your visit to Beef-A-Rama™ will be even easier, with the brand-new Beef-A-Rama™ event app. “We wanted a way to get all of our event information out to everyone attending Beef-A-Rama™,” explains Krystal Westfahl, Executive Director of Minocqua Area Chamber of Commerce. “We are encouraging everyone – locals and visitors alike – to download the app to get the full details on this amazing annual event.”
The event app features an interactive event schedule, sponsors’ information, an interactive map of the area, and details about the roasters attending the event. The app is available to download in the Apple and the Google Play Store.
About Beef-A-Rama™
Beef-A-Rama™ is an annual festival that takes place in downtown Minocqua. The festival began in 1964 when Minocqua Merchants Association began the ‘Fishorama’ event, celebrating both fish and roast beef dishes, on the opening day of fishing season and has evolved into the Beef-A-Rama™ tradition that families look forward to year after year. The event includes an early morning Rump Roast Run, the Prime Choice Craft Show, Roaster Parade, Beef Eating Contest, and of course, plenty of beef! The 2017 festival will be on September 29-30.
