Phyl Wickham - Acoustic Rock
Minocqua Brewing Company,238 Lakeshore,Dr,Minocqua
Saturday, September 20, 2014 8:00 pm

Sometimes in music you're able to meet those folks who are truly humbled by those who appreciate the little things in life.Phyl Wickham has been around some of the greatest this area's musicscene has to offer, but each interaction continues to build upon theother - much like a thunderstorm coming across the plains, picking up energy as it moves through the mid-afternoon sky.

Phyl plays an acoustic guitar along with some harmonica and his vocalsto go along with the two is a sound so rich and pure that it can makeyour blood flow upstream. Everything from his punk-rock influences inhis younger days to his falling in love with the Bluegrass erasurrounding one of his favorite Lake Superior towns, Duluth, he'sseasoned, soft and powerful in the same breath.
