Chamber Checks encourage people to shop locally and can be used just like cash at chamber member businesses and/or businesses located throughout Minocqua, Arbor Vitae, Woodruff, Lake Tomahawk, Hazelhurst and Lac du Flambeau. We are proud to offer Chamber Checks to local residents and tourists alike to spend in the area.

How They Work

Chamber Checks are valid checks with bank routing numbers, a check number, chamber contact information and the signature of an authorized chamber staff member

When Chamber Checks are purchased from the Minocqua Area Chamber of Commerce, the money is deposited into a special account at River Valley State Bank in Minocqua

Each check is valid for one year from the date of purchase

Checks are not redeemable for cash and must be used for their full value, as no cash will be given back

Businesses should not turn these away or be mislead that they are merely gift certificates — Chamber Checks are valid checks that should be endorsed on the back and deposited just like any other check

How To Get Them

Chamber Checks may be purchased at the Minocqua-Arbor Vitae-Woodruff Area Chamber of Commerce with cash or check in any increment $10 or greater. An additional $.50 per check is charged for administrative fees. Payment must be made before checks are filled out. We will make every effort to complete each order on the day of request. Check requests may also be phoned in, but payment must be received at the chamber before checks are processed.
